So this is kind of silly, but just felt like ranting Anyone ever wonder if people won't be attracted to them because of their weight?! I've been very insecure of my weight for the past few months and will continue to be until I lose some more. I'm not extremely overweight, but just chubby. I am going on a trip to Israel in a few days with a group of 40 people (never met them, it's a free trip for Jews). I heard a lot of people like to meet people on that trip-of course that's not the reason I'm going, but it would be a bonus I usually don't have a problem getting guys, although I def got hit on a lot more when I was thinner. I know there's a lot more factors than looks, such as confidence and personality, but I still keep pondering if anyone will find me attractive. I know everyone has diff "types"-like some people like people with some extra weight. Of course it doesn't really matter-I'm going to have an amazing time regardless-but I'm just wondering if anyone else ever feels this way!!

Looks are the number 1 factor, but it seems like your looks are good enough to attract a fair amount of men. You will attract more if you are thinner.

I think you are very pretty though from what I can see from your photo.

I have plenty of friends who are bigger than me who have: held hands with a guy, kissed a guy, dated a guy long-term or had sex with a guy. However, I am one of the thinner people in our group of friends and none of that has happened to me. So I think weight doesn't honestly have a lot to do with it, although I do personally still wonder sometimes.

Just a side note - Also, not to be bias, but possibly because you're Jewish, your dating pool might be lessened. I know a lot of Jewish people and from what I've heard from them, they tend to date other Jewish people. You will have a good opportunity on this trip to meet young men and see Israel, so go and have fun and maybe you'll meet someone!

Thanks for the comments!! I think you are very pretty as well. I think that is it confidence that matters the most along with personality. I am def not religious-don't care if the man is Jewish!!

Being open to a wider group of people to date is awesome! Can't hurt anything!

I get hit on by more guys since I lost weight, but people say confidence is the most attractive thing you can have.

Your confidence and personality is what really matters. As per every thread I've ever read about this, 80% of guys prefer women with a radiant smile and a bit of meat on their bones!!
