    Either that or it is a belief gained through the maturing/socialization process that no matter what guys say and mean many women will simply never accept it because it goes against a lifetime of "belief".

    Could be. Or, it could be that what the guys "say" and the guys "do" are two different things. They "say" they don't like a lot of makeup, but many of us find that the men pay more attention to the women that wear it. Granted, like I said, the guys around here don’t seem to realize how much makeup their “naturally beautiful woman” is actually wearing.

    Where you live women are much more minimalist so maybe it’s also culture dependent.

    I agree with this Janie. I've heard so many men say they don't like make-up. I can take it or leave it. Some days I wear it. Some days I don't. It also may depend upon what I'm doing. But, I gotta tell you, when I dress up, and get dolled up, and put the works on, the actions of the men around me disprove the "no make-up" theory.

    I'm guessing women should jump out of bed in the morning and make sure the man never sees them without make up? Or we can spring the "real you" on them after you get married?

    A beautiful woman is beautiful with no make up. Make up is just "real life airbrushing." I get why it's done, but prefer when it isn't like a major construction project.

    For those that do a bright red lipstick, the greatest stuff ever is Maybelline 24 hour LipStay. It's AMAZING! It stays on until you remove it with makeup remover.

    I've gone out for the night with my regular, very light make up and bright red lips, and I'm not ashamed to say I met up with a FWB, stayed the night :bigsmile: and woke up with lips still perfectly done when I woke up in the morning when, uhhh, with regular lipstick they wouldn't be. :bigsmile:

    It's amazing. I should be paid as a spokesperson for this for all the women I've turned on to it.

    I love the maybeline line I have about every shade of red they make......

    Also I wear make-up when I go out at night .. If some guy is coming to the house or I am going to his house to hang the most they get out of me is some lipgloss lol.... I always figure if they are gonna wanna sleep with me eventually they will see me without it anyways .:smokin:
