I had my revision surgery on 6/26/12. I had my lapband removed and had the RNY done. I am reading everywhere that everyone was on liquids and soft foods for a couple weeks. My surgeon had my class eating real food a week after surgery. I am handling it very well but the scale is going slower than I thought. I have lost about 27lbs since coming home from the hospital. I am sticking to high protein low sugar foods and only eating about 300 cals a day and exercise about 30 -45 mins about 5 days a week (only treadmill until 2 months out). I have heard that having a revision surgery you tend to lose weight slower. Has anyone experienced this? I meet with the dietician and exercise specialist in a few weeks and have a lot of questions so far.
