It's finally here Olympics 2012 is about to begin.

I'm really excited, I can't wait to see the opening ceremony.

Driving into work at 08.12 listening to church bells peeling, hand bells were ringing,

The 12 hour countdown to 20.12 has officially begun.

Whoa........

    It's very exciting, I unfortunately slept through the bells but Chris Evans played them on his radio show and I had a tear in my eye. Looking forward to the ceremony tonight!

    Am off to Kings Cross in half an hour for an appt and hoping that there might be something there for the children to see as well.
    Spending this evening at a scout hut with a large screen/BBQ to watch the ceremony - it should be good and they say the scattered showers might just miss the stadium. Fingers crossed.

    I'm off to men's quarter final footie at Wembley on Sat, could be GB if they come 2nd in their group... assuming they get through to the quarter final of course. Also, the kids won paralympic tickets through their school, so will see the stadium in Sept.
