The Eternal Question??

What is it about exercise that makes me not like it? Why do I find such comfort in contemplating my navel, but not in shaking my booty.? I wonder about this, and I don't know that there is anything to be gained by wondering about this - but I still wonder.
What make idleness so appealing?

Once I am exercising I enjoy myself. I enjoy swimming, I enjoy cycling, I enjoy walking. But the thought of exercising, and the getting up and doing it is where I have the confounded emotional block.

Does anybody else suffer from this particular funkiness?

YES! It helps that I decided a while back that exercise is like homework was when I was a kid, or cleaning the toilet, or visiting the GYN yearly - I don't like it, but I have to do it. That's all. It's necessary. I also gave up the idea that I was going to be perfect, like popping out of bed at 5am to go for a 5 mile run before breakfast with a smile on my face... Puh-LEASE! So I do it because I ahve to when I can, as often as I can.
