thoughts on buspar?

I just was put on Buspar, after years of a love/hate relationship with Xanax. It works but I was taking it sooo much!

Klonipin made me a zombie.

Any thoughts on the Buspar?

I'm on week 3 of Buspar. I was started on a 5mg dose, but we upped to 10 mg after a week. I was having high anxiety days, stress-related neck spasms, and twitching. So much twitching that I was having a hard time having conversations with people, driving me crazy.
I almost don't twitch at all now, and although I do still lash out now and then, I find myself feeling much more in control.
The only downside is that I have to be careful about standing up too fast if I'm even slightly dehydrated. I'll get really dizzy and my vision will black out for a second, but it goes away quickly and is way worth the benefits to me.
I have taken zoloft and prozac in the past, but was zombie-fied by zoloft and couldn't stand the complete loss of sex-drive associated with prozac. I love that the buspar just take a bit of the anxiety edge off, just enough for me to deal with things without feeling clouded.

I just started and stopped Buspar. I had an extremely bad dry mouth that lasted for 3 days and also dizzy spells. My anxiety got worse and had a little depression which I don't suffer from usually. Didn't have a good experience.
