You know what sucks? When you post a long thread about how awesome you guys are and then I got to post it and my internet times out and it doesn't post! That stinks!! :explode:

Anyway, I wanted to say that you guys who are keeping up with this, you are awesome! I've been MIA here and there and want to express my appreciation to GrammaBonnie in particular for keeping up the topic threads...you are so wonderful! :flowerforyou:

So we are in week 4. Some of you have kept up with it. Some of you have missed a few sessions (ME!) and some are joining in a little later. Keep it going! Keep it up! A few missed sessions happen, but we can still keep with this program!

How are you all doing? What program are you on for today (Wednesday - yes I'm posting a day ahead!)

Janey: I'm so glad that you are still with us! Thanks for writing such a great report, even if we can't read it! :)

As for me: I'm floundering with this.
I was only able to do 20 on my exhaustion test … more than I did as my max for Wk 2 Day 3, but the same as I did on Wk 2 Day 3.

That would have me on Wk 3, Day 1, Column one, which seemed too easy. (In retrospect, I should have just followed the plan.) But, without looking at the rest of the week, I went to Week 2, Day 1, Column 3. That called for 14/14/10/10 and a max of 15+, but I could only do 11. That column continues to get harder. I don't think my body, this week, can do it.

I regret that I didn't do Week 3, Day 1. Tomorrow I'm going to switch to Wk3, Day2, Column 1, and get back on the program. I am, I am, I am!

Sorry to be so wordy. I needed to work this out for me! :)

I've been REALLY draggy for the last few days. And then, before I had fallen asleep last night, my daughter sliced herself with a box cutter, and came knocking on my bedroom door around 1:00. "Do I need stitches, Mom?" No, but it took a while to fix her up -- including the fabrication of a splint to keep her hand still. So, I really thought I'd drag today. I pushed the water (12 cups instead of the 8 I've been getting lately), and surprised myself ... I still feel good, despite only about 4 hours of sleep. I had a good, long walk, did a half hour of PT homework, and then did my pushups.

58 years old. 6 standard pushups on initial test. Rank/Column 2
    Initial Exhaustion test: 6
Week 1: Exceeded the max each day! (by 2, 2, 3) Level 2
Week 2: Struggled. Did twice, missed a few days. Exceeded max by 3, 4, 5 modified, 1 standard. Level 2.
Week 2 end: Exhaustion test: 20.

    This week:
    Week 2, Day 1 - 7/30 - Completed as prescribed, but Max of 11! (15 required, under by 4) Level 3
    Week 3, Day 2 - 8/1 - Completed as prescribed, with a Max of 15! (12 required, over by 3!) Level 1

The last few days were discouraging, but today I am feeling much more hopeful that I'll be able to stay with this. Whoop!

    How's everyone else doing?
