Technically it is possible to lose 14 pounds in August. You might have to count your "starting weight" from July 27th (previous Friday). From July 27 to Aug 31 there are 5 weeks. That's 2.8 pounds a week. A bit aggressive, but possible (especially for those of us with over 50 pounds still to go!).

Never give up. Never Surrender. Kick the weight to the curb!

I know its a lot to ask but are we carrying on? I have not lost weight BUT these are the first summer months that I have not put back all the weight I had lost in the lead upto summer.... was a bit of a cycle. Would spend autumn trying to lose what I had put on over teh summer. Then gain it back over Christmas and yes you guessed it trying to lose for summer!!!!!! Anyway if not just want to say thank you....:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

    See my topic "Moving On"

14 pounds a month is so ridiculously aggressive. I like the idea of spreadsheet tracking and group accountability. I joined the other group.

I also started my own "fitness tracker" on Google Docs. i weigh in daily, run three times a week, and pump some iron when I can. I log all of that in the spreadsheet so I can see graphs of progress, etc. It's a geeky way that I self-motivate.
