Maybe I should consider adding a disclaimer...I got a message from a guy last week who I'm not kidding said "give me 10 minutes alone with your chubby kitty, so I can show you how a real Brooklyn Italian does it" - I'm pretty sure, he wasn't talking about my four-legged friend because I don't even own a cat!!!
POF is Horrid, I use it as a form of entertainment. Glad to know it happens all over the U.S. and not just in CA.0 -
MY BF and I were talking about this. We came up with the theroy hat most girls dont act like this or respond well to it but that the guys that are doing it want us to think other women do it so we will do it lol.... I'm sure there are ladies out there who are all about this but I imagine they are few and far between0

That is all I ever get with data sites! It's so frustrating, because I add a similar statement to my profile and it doesn't matter. Or I will get 40-60yr. old guys who want me to date them (I'm 22-not my thing).0

But sometimes you need to wade through the mire to get to the gold. They are everywhere, not just POF.
I'm a big fan of your change to a profile pic wearing a sombrero.
Thank you Nerple - we celebrated at Chevys for my birthday!! You are lookin pretty sexy in your sombrero!!0 -
oh yeah... we all get them... but I agree that putting a disclaimer on your profile puts a negative vibe out there and turns off the good guys.. I mean, when I read a guy's profile that says "NO GAMES OR DRAMA" or "Where are all the REAL women" or "I am not interested in a one night stand" I tend to pass those up...
POF is a joke. In my opinion.
Yet, I still have a profile there.
Ha ha...
And DM, I did an experiment not too long ago... you're right.. women under 30 in large metroplex areas get a ton of messages...lol... but I get my fair share at 37 in small town rural America... just not quality... who cares about quantity if there is no quality0
