If you're a fan of open world games like Grand Theft or Saint's Row, Sleeping Dogs is looking to be a good option to hold us over under GTA5 comes, whenever that is.

Also, for those with a beefy PC, this has Direct X 11 and multi-monitor support, along with a bunch of other goodies that PC games usually get the shaft on.

This is $34 on greenmangaming.com with code ORDER-NTCOM-PLETE right now in case anyone is looking for a good pre-order deal on the PC version. Looking forward to it hitting next week.

This was supposed to be True Crimes 3. Same Asian protagonist from True Crimes 1. I enjoyed 1, hated 2. I hope this is a good one.

I love the Saints Row games. Such a stupid amount of fun. Thanks for the tip.

I've been following this for a few weeks and will be picking up the game, the melee combat looks like it has quite a lot of potential and it seems to occupy the middle ground between Saints Row 3 and GTA IV

Just a follow up, I'm about 4 hours into Sleeping Dogs, and it's awesome. Definitely recommended, the fighting system is a lot like the Batman: Arkham series, minus the sliding mechanic, the story is decent, the voice acting is good, and the city is well realized.

Agreed. The gameplay is very Arkham City and it's a lot of fun. I've very much enjoyed the voice acting so far and there is a ton to do around the city. I'm pretty early in the game as well, but the story so far has been well enough.
I'd certainly recommend checking it out to those who are on the fence!

Yeah, it's in my "unopened I'll conquer it later" pile. Along with Bayonnetta, God of War 3, Red Steel 2, Dues Ex, Arkham City and Skyrim. Good thing I have all my sick days

Got the PC version today with the high res pack & my God do those enviroments look ALIVE, vivid and beautiful! Lots of personality in the streets of 'Hong Kong' & whilst I am having a lot of fun in my first couple hours the are a few things that bug me. Namely is the 'Reverse' system the game implements...... on many occasions the CPU would go to attack me and for whatever reason wouldn't go close to connecting with me & as a result your guy stands there for a few seconds unable to do anything whilst some other prick stabs you! Also the spontaneous QTE's you encounter mid game almost always catch you out the first few times, but on the whole from the first couple of hours I can see myself having a lot of fun with Sleeping Dogs; the first time I decided to do a flying kick at some poor unsuspecting pedestrian as I ran to my next destination in one fluid moment was the time I got a huge grin on my face *mainly because it was as all so smooth! Run>>Flying Kick>> Continue Running>> Leap Over Wall..... SATISFYING!
