Pleated Skirts for a Pear Shaped Body

I LOVE this outfit from New York & Co's fall line but I'm not sure how the pleated skirt would look on me being that I have a pear shaped body. I definitely carry most of my weight in my booty. Any thoughts??

    I think it would work because they're such tiny pleats, it almost has an a-line shape. But the only way to know is to try it on.

    I think it would look great. It's not too short, and yeah, the pleats are small.

    Try it on. I am always back and forth on the pleats. Some theories say the whole a-line thing draws less attention to your hips. But I find for me, I have a super short torso and big boobs, that I just can't make it work. You need to tuck in your top, and it makes my torso look shorter with a fuller skirt. I end up wearing pretty much 100% pencil skirts. I do like a fit and flare type dress though.
