I went to Olympic Park on Saturday. Had the BEST time! Saw two hockey games, went to the top of the Orbit and spent most of the evening on the hill with the big tele watchin Mo win gold and Tom win bronze. Fab! :bigsmile:
Sunday I met a friend for drinks and saw the closing ceremony.
I am sad its all over now :brokenheart:

Oh well Glad to see both of our countries kicked some major @ss. The closing ceremony was awesome! Fatboy Slim! Awesome.

OK -- my weekend sucked...
but, I have a date tonight... just an initial meeting.. nothing fancy.
I think I'm overly tired and probably need to really get some good sleep at some point in the near future.... like now, on my desk. My dad won't notice... right? <yeah, I work for family>
Sad the Olympics are over as well but even sadder when I realized the next time we have a summer games my daughters will be 17 & 14..... Noooooooo0 -
Just got back from the Bahamas cruise this afternoon and THANKFULLY still took tomorrow off to recover. Worth every penny even though my clothes are a little tighter, haha. I actually had a great time and even learned a little about myself.
I went parasailing, snorkeling, swimming, etc... in the most amazing clear blue water. Ate all the dessert I wanted (and steak and fish). Laid by the pool and finished 2 books I'd been wanting to read. Went dancing a few times and even did the Wobble and Cuban Shuffle on a booze cruise while drinking rum punch, ah... the Bahamas!
Got a slight tan, missed my dog, learned that I still have no idea how to flirt, AND that my confidence issues are really about how I relate other women... interesting experience and I'm sure I'll have some topic to post soon to share, haha...0 -

Yeah, I don't think a lot of girls like to kiss after the first date. Maybe try after the second or third.

I spent my weekend ( thurs to today actually) camping w my kids :-) we had a great time! That's about it for me.
