I've found the best way for me to stay committed on this journey is to eat a large variety of foods. If I'm eating the same thing all the time, I feel so deprived (even if it's something I love). I enjoy cooking and baking, so I'm constantly churning thru sites for new recipes or ideas. I've been using the fish cooking method mentioned on here a few weeks ago, and love it. Last night I had tilapia seasoned with garlic pepper and pineapple/mango salsa. My husband hates fish, so he does his own thing the nights I'm doing seafood. When he said it smelled delicious, I offered him a bite. He loved it! Something he would see in a restaurant, he said. What a difference from the years I tried to do this by powering down a Lean Cuisine. Real food cooked right makes it so much easier to stick with!

Oooh, this sounds delicious! Did you make the pineapple/mango salsa from scratch??
