Recovery Week

So this is my recovery week and tonight is supposed to be X Stretch, I dont really feel like doing this, I would much prefer to do some Cardio and get a good burn in. Is the stretch in recovery week really necessary?

    I know it is easy to skip the Stretch and lower cal burn days and do something more challenging, but I think it is important to incorporate the stretch / rest days. The way I look at it, the experts that formulated these programs know what they are doing, so I follow their schedule for the most part. Stretching really helps your body prepare for more strenuous activity in the future.

    Im also on recovery week on the Insanity workout. Not used to all this go slow!!!! What's all that about eh. Still, beats being tortured to a point I can bearly stand or breath. 2 more days left, then the last 4 weeks are crazy workouts!
