    My usual 4 mile lunch route turned into 5.7 miles of liquid fun! So let's make that 83.82 for the month.

    OK, I'm going to try to make this as easy as possible to catch up. I'm listing the last week plus because I've been off running the Trans-Rockies. It was an incredible experience. Absolutely amazing. I'll get some photos up later.

    We did very well (this is a team event; you run with your partner the whole time). The event was 8/14 through 8/19 (6 days). We took 2nd place in our division (80+, based on the combined ages of the 2 people on the team). We are ecstatic that we did so well. We won three of the six stages and got 2nd the other 3 days. Never, ever did I think we would do so well. It helps that we are old-ish! :tongue:

    Before the event we ran:

    8/13: 4.2 miles

    And the event shook out like this:
    8/14: 21 miles
    8/15:13.6 miles
    8/16: 24.5 miles
    8/17: 14.3 miles
    8/18: 24 miles
    8/19: 23.4 miles

    So for me, that makes my MTD 150.4!

    Hamstring is a do what doesn't hurt type of injury. So I will keep the goal and just go with the flow. Can't get down on myself for a strain!

    Sorry I didn't check in last week. It was 0 miles (had surgery on the 13th and just getting back out there today).
