I went to see the specialist this am and the cyst in the babies brain is gone! I do indeed have another baby with a 2 vessel cord, but baby is growing great and no anatomy issues. Weighs 1 pound today and they will just monitor the growth a little closer than normal.

    Thanks everyone for the prayers.

Anyone else been having braxton hicks contractions? I have been getting them at least once a day for the past couple of weeks, sometimes 10 a day. Nothing regular and not painful, just uncomfortable tightening across my belly. I usually just lie down on my left side and drink a couple of big glasses of water and they go away. What do you do?

I will be going out of town tomorrow thru the New Year and don't know if I will be on here much. So I want to wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! While I am away we will be having our reveal party and am so excited to find out if this one is a boy or girl. My gut says it is a girl because it feels so different. My husband saw the 3d ultrasound pics from yesterday and thinks the face looks like a girl, but we will see. I will try to make a quick post after we find out for you all.

I started with some braxton hicks over the last weeks or so, just one or two a day. It is usually when I am over- doing it. I think that my uterus gets as irritable as I do when I am too busy! Have a lovely holiday, and I am excited to hear what your baby's gender will be!

I'm Due April 6 with my baby#1... I just found this group and discussions... I hope everyone is getting along well!! I'm super excited for my baby girl to come on out, but I still have another 3+ months! Yikes to all the extra weight I have put on, I initially lost 15 lbs using my fitnesspal, now after all this weight gain I hope I can get it off again and get back to my goal weight so I can fit into all my lovely clothes! By the Dr.s count I have gained 29, but my own count I have gained 33. Time to slow it down and make sure I'm eating just enough, it is really hard during the holidays and everyone is handing me cookies and candy!! Keep your fat and sugar to yourself please, it isn't all their fault I just can't say no!

welcome mhawk! I think we are all in the same boat with being astounded by weight gain, especially those of us that this is our first. I had high hopes of keeping weight gain down but I didn't know how strong cravings would be and how incredibly hungry I would be. When I get it in my head that I want something there is NO getting it out of my brain! I'm hoping that when hubs and I go visit my family next month I can just stick to my very favorite thing at all the restaurants I have missed. Urban Fries (fries with blue cheese and hot chili oil) here I come!!!!

When are you all considering the start of the 3rd trimester, I tried to look it up and some things say 26 weeks others say 28. It's confusing!

Thank you EmilyRanae22 for welcoming me :) It has definately been a rough road staying aware of weight gain when I get so emotional about wanting certain foods. There is no telling myself no anymore, I just need to keep the junk away!! Christmas season is probably the worst time to try and hold back though, people keep handing me cookies and candy and it is so hard to say no!! Urban fries sound delicious! haha

I think the start is probably really 26 weeks, and I am only saying this because in the past week I have felt very different than I did the whole pregnancy and I can only figure it is because I"m coming into my 3rd trimester soon! Tomorrow I will be 25 weeks, and while I don't want to be in my third trimester by next week,(I hear it is much more like the misery of the 1st plus some) but I'm afraid it is eminate!

Yes it is.... I am like all that hard work, but I do believe all this waiting, when the baby actually gets here, we will be more determined then ever

I already bought my new jogging stroller! My 2- year- old loves it, so I will probably be wearing the baby and put my son in the stroller until I feel up to running again! I can't wait to jump back into Insanity! My only concern is decreased breastmilk with increased activity. I have never done more extreme workouts post- partum, so I will really have to make sure that I eat enough calories and stay hydrated. Has anyone else had problems with decreased supply with working out or trying to lose weight?

How is everyone doing? My baby girl seems to be very healthy according to all tests that have been done. I have gained 30 pounds at 25.5 weeks and am so tired still. I'm starting to get quite huge and its getting uncomfortable to move. I wonder if I'll ever have energy again. I know I will though. This is my 3rd pregnancy. It's amazing how quickly I felt better after the first 2.

I'm right there with you on weight gain and it being uncomfortable to move. For work we have to "blouse our pants" (the whole military thing where it looks like they are tucked into your boots) and I have been revolting against doing that until absolutely necessary because it's so uncomfortable to bend down and do it. hehe.....I think my boss is getting a bit irritated with it ;)

I am also revolting from my work uniform. We are supposed to wear a specific color and style of scrubs, but right now I am wearing what fits. If my boss says anything, then she can buy me new scrubs!

Hi Ladies! I am due on April 2nd with our second child (a boy)! We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I gained a total of 50 pounds with my daughter and I am determined to keep my weight in check this time. So far I have gained 13 pounds (I'm 27 weeks today) so I am doing much better! I am so glad that I found other pregnant women that are concerned about their health.
