Personally I am not a fan of exercise but know I need to do some, so any support or ideas to motivate me would be gratefully received. Thanks for starting the group, this is a new experience for me and am really hoping the group support will help me to lose weight and get fit.

    Crocal,

I suggest starting slow. If you try to jump in a do more than you can handle, you'll burn out and give up. well, at least that was my experience. I purchase p90x and tried to do it after months of sitting on my butt. Nope. I then ordered p90 which is probably where I will start again. I will probably have to modify the movements. Start taking walks, the walk, jogs. Just do something. 10 minutes to start is better than 0 minutes.

@ Crocal , I would also say start out small. You don't want to over do yourself or set yourself up for failure when your body thinks its to much for you to do! We are all here to help you!

  • Right now i'm doing 30DS and i love it, but when i first started this the first time was when me and my boyfriend took a walk and it was 2 miles. Then i started taking walks by myself and just listening to music. I loved it, then i started doing zumba and walking outside, then on the treadmill while watching TV. Just doing different things to burn calories.
