So in Montana there are outdoor activities to do all year around. During the spring and summer you can camp, hike, bike, canoe, you name it on the lake you got it. During fall and winter we have tons of places to ski, snowboard, snowshoe, and much more. So here is what I want to know. What time of year is your favorite and what kind of activities do you love to do?

    I like summer activities. Love to run, walk, hike, camp, fish... and I went backpacking for the first time ever this summer. Loved it so much I bought my own pack and we are going out again before the cool fall weather hits.

    I'm not into the winter sports, though I would like to to learn to snowshoe and/or cross country ski.

    Fall is my favorite! Love love love LOVE it! I live in Moab, UT now but will be heading up to WY and MT next week. I am so excited. I love to hike and backpack. I wish I would be going in late Fall as that is truly my fav but still excited no matter what. Oh yes, I like late Fall because you can almost hear mother nature sighing that a year is almost over and the animals survived the rut and are getting ready for old man winter. Its just so quiet and serene hiking on the trails and stepping on the fallen leaves with the crisp cold air.
