Thank you for joining this group! This is a program that I am participating in, and I would love to involve as many people as I can. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, please stick around. If you would like to invite others to join in - please do! The more the merrier!
I have only recently begun my journey to a healthier lifestyle. I have not been to see a nutritionist or dietician, but have just been blindly learning what is good for me through my own research and tips from friends. I feel like I am learning a lot by way of exercise, but as far as food is concerned, I have so much information being thrown at me that it is hard to stick with a certain plan. As I mentioned, this is not a special diet. It is just tips that help participants learn to look a food in a new way. After a month of following the guidelines, it should be part of daily life. I am hoping that by following these simple rules strictly for a month, I will have the boost of weight-loss that I have been wishing for. Please feel free to add any information that you think is important.
This Challenge does not really tell us anything that we haven't heard before. It is just a challenge to set certain restrictions on your diet and COMMIT TO STICKING TO IT for the designated time (whether you choose a step a week or all of them at once). Don't expect any food revelations from the healthy living gods to be given to you that you couldn't have found elsewhere. Just know that the people here are dedicated to follow through with the same plan you are. For one month. We can do this!
