Lunchtime walk, Fairfax VA

I just completed a 39 minute walk at 3 mph and noticed American Goldfinches and Fish Crows about near the Innova Hospital. A very nice but rather warm walk at an easy pace. Lots of traffic so few birds.

I don't know much about birding but I wouldn't mind knowing more
. I admire birds all of the time and I wish I knew more of their names. I saw a beautiful red winged black bird off of Cascades PKWY in Sterling VA a few weeks ago. I love watching birds while I am up in my deer stand too. They will get very close when you are in full camo. I think they just get curious. There is nothing quite like watching the woods come alive with the rising sun on a cool morning. 0
