I reached a milestone in weight loss - more than 10% of my initial weight gone.
Had blood drawn today, too; I hope it shows better glucose and insulin numbers than last Nov. (insulin resistant/pre-diabetic).
The ladies that run the blog and I also have a FB page: https://www.facebook.com/LasFlacasWeightLossJourneys

Ritual of the squat: http://2010flacas.blogspot.com/2012/09/ritual-of-squat.html
Some snips:
I've noticed that when I approach the bar for squats, I have a ritual.
This is as much a ritual as any other thing I've done in my life, like meditation, walking the labyrinth, the sun salutation, or the bedtime routine when my daughter was younger.
In walking through this ritual, I feel as though my body is starting to align with my mind and my spirit, like a fuzzy picture starting to come into focus.0
