Our first hunting season opens this weekend! Dove season and turkey if you were lucky enough to draw (which we did not) Early Teal is next weekend. I cannot wait:bigsmile:

    Our early doe (archery) starts in 2 weeks, but I have to work. So I will be hunting the evening. You can smell it in the air.:happy:

    We have early Doe, then Youth (I have two kids that want hunt this year) then Archery starts Oct 1st

    Our youth doe season isn't until Oct 18th and runs for 3 days.

    Did not apply for any tags this year but I want to try and get a waterfowl or upland bird hunt in this season.

    You go Newf! We have all kinds of birds out here. The ducks are flying and so are the geese. Dove are thick!

    In New Jersey bow season starts the beginning of September. It is way too warm then for me, so I normally wait until October.

    However this year I have been so busy coaching football I have had 0 time to shoot my bow. I will not go into the treestand without knowing I can place a perfect shot on a deer. So starting next week I will start shooting my bow and hope to be ready for the rut to kick in.
