P90X--thighs and butt!

I'm on day 50 of p90x lean version and it doesn't seem to be working my outer thighs and butt enough, I've toned up loads everywhere else but not enough here. Will it start eventually? I add in plyo a couple of days per week and during squats I always go as low as I can, which is at least as low as they are on the DVD. I've also been doing other leg and butt toning exercises a few days a week that were in my health and fitness magazine with little progress. Suggestions? Experiences?

    Hey girl. Those areas are my main goal as well to tone up, I have the same issues. Plus sitting on my butt 10 hrs a day don't help much at all. Being in 2nd round of P90, I can see a differnce but not as much as I'd like. I believe if we really want to see improvement in those areas maybe you can get Brazil Butt lift for next program, heard that was an awesome workout for those areas. Just keep doing what you have been doing, you'll see an improvement come that 90 days!! I'm still not where I want to be as fas as my butt and thighs go, that may take extra time considering that's the fattest part of my body (like jello.. sick) Ha!

    I'm glad I'm not the only one (although you look great) I've always had problems with my upper outer thighs and butt. They are WAY smaller since I started working out over a year ago but still flabby and gross. I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy additional DVDs since p90x is amazing but I just might have to if I don't tone up enough.

    I have been dying to get my hands on BBL but just haven't had the $ right now, that is def. my next goal is to get the video to work those areas. It just takes time I guess. :(
  • I just finished my second round of P90X. Going to start my third round Saturday doing a hybrid of P90X/P90XPlus and Turbo Fire.

    I will tell you that my thighs and butt were the last things to start showing progress. It will happen but just takes more time. Plyo is not going to do as much for your legs and butt as the work out "legs and back". Plyo is mainly cardio which will help you lose weight with a great calorie burn but the legs DVD is the one that will firm up those thighs and butt. Maybe try doing the classic P90X on your next round instead of the lean. I did lean the first time and the classic the second time.

    If you hit the legs and back work out hard. Give it all you have. Your butt and thighs are killing you the next day. Hurts to sit down and stand up.

    Thanks! I do legs and back and add plyo in addition to what I'm supposed to do a few times per week. I definitely give legs and back my all and am at least 90 degrees or below in all the squats, wall sits, chair pose, etc. I'm planning on doing doubles next :) I wanted to do lean first to burn some initial fat which has worked well. I just have high hopes for what my legs and butt will look like I guess! Lol

    IN LOVE with Legs and Back!! You can def. feel the burn the next day no matter how far you are in the 90 days!! :)

  • Good deal! Just be patient. I swear was in the same boat. I would look in the mirror and see a smaller stomach, toner arms, toner calfs but my thighs and butt were not changing and everything around them was. One day in my second round I started noticing a difference. Good Luck!!

    Gotta agree on Brazil Butt Lift! That was amazing for my hips/thighs/butt! I stuck to it for about a week and half and could already tell a difference :) I dont think P90X did anything for my booty :/
