Well, it would appear our group may be losing some steam as we near the last month of our challenge. No worries - I knjow I'm fighting my own demons as the moment too! But keep doing your best as we head into the end of summer and the beginning of my favorite time of year - FALL!
I am currently up about 4-5 lbs and am hoping another day or two of post-TOM retention loss will get me a little closer to where I should be. See you in a couple of days for official weigh in!

Hey fellow 40+ers ! How is everyone doing ? I am chugging along myself. I gained .4 of a lb this week, which is okay with me.
At the beginning of August I upped my calories and I knew that this month I would barely see a difference in the weight loss dept. as my body is getting adjusted to the new added calories. However, I did notice some other changes happening. My clothes are fitting better, my endurance is getting longer and I am stronger than ever. Also, I have had chronic hip pain for many years and it has actually gone away !!
Remember, it isn't always about the number on the scale !!

Hello all! Can't check in this week as have lent my scales to my brother to check the weight of his suitcases for his holiday! Be able to check back in once he's back.
I'm of to Italy for a week on Tuesday so am not expecting to report a loss afterwards as my resistance to gelato is ..... zero! but I know I really need to kick my rear into gear once back. My new job starts then and I want it to be a time of fresh starts and better food habits.
I'm glad to see the honesty on the boards & the NSV victories some of you are having esp. healthwise - I know myself, I'm fitter than before and my health will be improved because of it - just need to round out the corners and get some weight off - that's the plan.
