Is Anyone One Else Taking Ramipril?

I just started taking medication for high blood pressure last night. My doctor put me on 5mg of Ramipril. So far today I'm just dealing with some nausea. I'm hoping it doesn't get worse.

    I think the nausea is probably from a bit of dizziness, ie. the drug is working...
    I've been on 5 mg. of Trandolapril another ACE inhibitor and it took me about a month to not notice it.

    The nausea only lasted the one day. It's been a couple weeks now and the only side effect I've noticed is some dry mouth, especially first thing in the morning.

    i've been taking 20 mg of lisinopril and haven't noticed any side effects... maybe a bit of dry cough, but not sure if it's from the drug...
