I just read a post on another forum about MFP and Google. It seems she googled her MFP user name and all of her pictures, which she thought were private, were displayed for the world to see. Even pictures that she had previously deleted from MFP were still available on google. I haven't posted any pictures, but I thought that I'd just see if anything came up, so I googled my user name. No pictures, but every single post, and reply I made to a post, was listed for anyone to read.

    I can't believe some people get upset over "privacy" when they're posting on the World Wide Web. I'd never comment here or on any other social network anything I wouldn't want my husband, boss (who is a priest) or my students and children to see.

    Yeah, but getting the reminder is always sobering. I picked a common use adjective in a foreign language, but still...
