mobile apps?

So I'm a tech junkie. I've got a bbry (for work, so no app from here for that), an iPod touch (for music and some work required apps) and an Android phone (for personal use). I've got the MFP app on the touch and the android, and while I can see it in my friends stream that some of you post discussions, I can't access the discussions from the mobile app.
Anyone know if they're ever going to fix it so the communities work on the mobile app or are they trying to keep that as a web-only service?
