Exhaustion

I am 25 weeks now and have been experiencing crazy tiredness. By 2pm in the afternoon I am done like right now I am ready to lay down and do nothing even though I am at work. On the weekends I usually take about an hour nap and actually feel refreshed afterwards. Spoke to my doctor about this during my last visit and of course I get the its just a side effect of pregnancy. Well I always thought in the 2nd trimester you get a burst of energy. With my first pregnancy I didn't become this tired until the last month I was pregnant. He ran a blood test I think just to make me happy and it turns out my iron levels were low even with the prenatal vitamins so they put me on a supplement that I take each day as well (I know TMI but I do not think my doctor ever wants me to poop again). I have been on the supplement for almost 2 weeks and I was looking forward to a boost in energy. Not sure if I waited long enough or if I am doomed to be like this till Dec. Just wondering if any of you experience this and if you were given any different ideas I haven't tried yet. Unfortunately I need to work for as long as I can and at this rate I will be lucky to make it the next couple of weeks if this gets worse.

I am about 28 weeks right now. I am freaking exhausted by 3 every day. I have no idea how I worked up until my due date with my older two kids. I am a sahm now and I am tired tired tired regardless of the amount of rest I get. I have been taking iron pills this time, too. My doctor told me that it is normal.

Are you able to nap at work? For instance... I munched at my desk with my last pregnancy.... yogurt drinks, crackers, meat, cheese... and when lunchtime rolled around, I was out in the car napping at any chance I could get. Even 20 minutes out of a 30 minute lunch break helped, and made a huge difference for my energy levels!
