Spreadsheet update

Hi everyone,

I have updated the challenges page on the spreadsheet to allow you to keep track of your week 2 challenge.

I hope that I have made it easy enough to follow, but I will put a couple of points for you to follow here.

The first thing you have to do is put your chosen exercise in the 'Exercise' column. As mentioned by Charlotte, this can be running, walking, cycling or another activity of your choice.

Next, you have to put your target distance in the 'Target' column. Please note that this must be a numerical value. The spreadsheet does calculations based on this figure so putting '5 miles' or '6km' will make it come back with an error. If you wish to put a detail such as miles or km, please put this in the column with the name of your exercise.

Once you have put in your target, you should see the end column show a 0 and turn red. As you enter your distance achieved on each day, this will show your score out of 10. It will turn orange once you have started to make progress towards your target, and will turn green if you achieve it. Remember, your score out of 10 contributes to the team score, so let us try to maximise this.

Any questions, please ask.

Regards,

Simon.

    Hi Simon!

Just one question: can we use "time" instead of "distance"? It would be a lot easier for the pals who, like me, do not have a pedometer nor the distances calculated. Both mappy and mapmyride give me wrong calculations... :(
  • I agree with her suggestion about time instead of miles. Cardio is just my cool down. I don't run/walk as my main exercise, I lift weights.

And I also do a lot of in-place jogging... I still do not dare to go out and run... :( Nor do I have the right shoes for it... :(

can we make time count as well? Pretty please?? :D
