Hello!
So my husband and I decided we wanted to start trying for our first. I stopped the BC in June and ever since then my appetite is humongous and I feel like I'm 13 again with all of this acne I'm assuming the acne is normal because of the hormones but how about the appetite? I feel like I can't get enough food and my thighs are starting to show it
Help!!!!

The hunger and skin problems are probably just your hormone levels going back to normal. B/c is one of those funny things when it comes to weight gain/loss. I know some friends who gained a lot of weight from their b/c, others lost. I can't offer much help, but stick with eating healthy and exercising to keep your weight under control. If you're really worried about it, though, discuss it with your doctor, he may be able to offer better advice or refer you to a nutritionist.
Hopefully with a bit of time everything will even out! :flowerforyou:0 -
Everyone has a different experience when they stop taking BC.
I stopped taking mine 9 months before we started trying for a baby. I was hungrier, but I was also determined to get into really good shape before getting pregnant. For me it was all about self-discipline and not allowing myself to pig out - even though I had days where I wanted to. I also started drinking a TON of water. It made my skin look nice and kept me feeling healthy. But everyone is different and you might have it far worse than I did.
It might be a good idea to talk to your doctor about your concerns?0
