Leaving Wednesday to ride the Tail of the Dragon and the Blue Ridge Parkway with a B.A.C.A. Brother of mine. We are just doing some wind therapy and seeing if we can get into some harmless trouble!! ;-)

I don't do rallies. Too much activity and too loud for my taste. I tend to not get along well with other people who ride because everyone seems to want to upgrade their exhaust to something louder that hurts my ears. It just seems so selfish and disrespectful of them.

There are some really comfortable ear plugs a lot of people wear. Many of us use loud pipes to let the cages know we are close. If they can't hear me, they will at least feel their cage rattling when I'm near. When I ride through residential areas, I never rev my motor out of respect for the homeowners.
  • Daytona Biketoberfest coming up. We will be riding to the Iron Horse area and visitng the vendors etc.... downtown daytona isn't what it used to be, and trouble usually happens down there. I'm not to keen on riding with a bunch of people that have been heavily drinking all day. I do enjoy the sights and party atmosphere at the Iron Horse and the neighboring biker bars. The past couple of years the vendors have been REAL thin, hoping that it picks up some this year.
