Dress up your water a little with fresh fruits, herbs and spices! We keep a pitcher in our fridge all the time, and we change up what's in it depending on what is in season or what we're in the mood for. To make these "recipes", fill a pitcher with water, add the ingredients, and steep together in the refrigerator for a few hours (overnight is best). Note none of them add anything artificial or unhealthy to your water! Some of our favorites include:
•Vanilla - Mint: 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract or a vanilla bean pod and a handful of fresh mint.
•Strawberry - Orange: Slice a handful of strawberries and an orange or tangerine. Also good with handful of fresh mint.
•Cinnamon - Orange: Slice an orange and add a stick of cinnamon.
•Cinnamint: Handful of fresh mint and a stick of cinnamon.
•Lemongrass Pear: Slices of ripe (but not too ripe) pear and a stalk of lemongrass.
•Berry-licious: Fresh seasonal berries. Our favorites are blackberries and blueberries.
•Melon-berry: Fresh seasonal berries and a few slices of honeydew or cantaloupe.
•Basil-lemon: Fresh basil leaves and lemon slices.
•Ginger-lemon: Fresh or ground ginger and lemon juice or slices.

Wow, I'm amazed....I never buy flavoured waters in the shop as I am always afraid of artificial sweeteners, preservatives, whatever - but these sound really great ad I love the fact that they are all natural. I will definitely try some. It really sounds like they add a purpose to water  Yes, I will definitely try some. I have fresh mint in the garden and I have some basil on the window sill. I will try a few and let you know how I get on - some of them I can't imagine, but those will probably taste the best, lol! Thank you for offering a solution to my problem, lol. But your persistence is paying off - I did drink some today because you keep it on my mind. Thanks!0

They sure are wonderful! I surprised my daughter with a refreshing glass of cinnamon/apple/vanilla/ginger infused water when I picked her up after class to take her to UCSF yesterday. She was very happy cause it is one of her favorites. Thanks for the link. I never thought of making different ones when entertaining but I will the next time we have a party.0
