Hey there, I need to put together a hard rock/metal playlist for my pumpin' workout sessions at the gym and I wondered if you could help me with suggestions. I'm looking for artist and song titles, not just artists. So if any specific good tunes work for you, then please share. Thanks.

I love high energy death metal stuff, Kataklysm's "Ambassador of Pain" is a good one, or Behemoth's "Conquer All".

I love my Manowar. Kick *kitten* beats - check out "Metal Warriors", "Call to Arms" and "Metal Warriors" for sure!

I like Satyricon's The Age of Nero. Fuzzy guitars and not too fast, gives me a good beat.

All That Remains - Overcome album is my go to album for the gym, I start with Two Weeks as my start off song gets me pumped.
  • I run, so I tend to divide my playlist into 3 parts:
Warm up: cradle of filth- the death of love
push: lamb of god- walk with me in hell
Sustain: children of bodom- are you dead yet

Nothing too Death-Metal-like for me. Some good old fashioned Linkin Park or BFMV is good. Something with a beat! :)
