Although I am not there yet, my goal is to eventually cut wheat from my diet. Right now I am still eating spelt and min. wwh products. Would love to hear from folks that have been down this road

Havent heard from any gluten free folks. I am still toying with the idea of dropping wheat from my foods. I would love to hear from others: how they did it, what they did, do they like it. et. Just though giving it up might speed weight loss and belly fat and insatiable insulin

My life has changed since going Gluten Free. Not for weight loss though, I think restricting my calories in general helped with that, but with my digestive issues and cognitive issues. So if you're thinking about going Gluten Free because of "Wheat Belly" then you can try it but I don't know how that is going to work out for you; but if you have health issues or mental health issues and you think it's related to Gluten, then that would be a good reason to switch to GF.

On a GF diet, I don't have Arthritic pains any more, I don't have digestive issues, and I don't have brain fog.

Hi i'm a coeliac and have been gluten free over 20 year. If you would like to add me please do or ask any advice.

I'm also dairy, egg and soya free due to other food intolerances/allergies and my diary is open.

EccentricDad - one of my major symptom was severed arthritis in my hips at 16 which has totally disappear since diagnosis.

Hello. I 've been gluten free for over 2 months now. I was suffering for almost a year before I figured out that gluten was killing me. BUT... Contrary to what you might hear, just cutting out gluten is not going to magically melt weight off of your body. I don't recommend going gluten free unless you are suffering symptoms of gluten intolerance. If you do not have an intolerance, wheat can be very healthy for you and also help you lose weight. The key is lowering carbs, not cutting out gluten. Whole grain breads and pastas can be a part of a healthy weight loss diet.
