Today is the day Black Mesa, the Half Life 1 fan remake using the Source engine, comes out. The site is currently getting hammered, but whenever people can actually get to a place to download it, it promises to be pretty cool.
It's also being added to Steam, although I'm not sure when. If you enjoyed the original Half Life or never played it but liked Half Life 2, then you probably owe it to yourself to check this out.
