Training for what kind of distance?
Certainly if you're in the later stages of a half or full marathon plan I'd be inclined to suggest you'd be eating pretty much at maintenance.0 -
I have a half marathon in 6 weeks, then after that I will be on a 30 week program for Spring Marathon Campaign with a half in April sometime.0

I lost a pound a week in the spring as i was approaching a half marathon. I was running 60 to 70 miles per week then. I think I ate at maintenance the week before the race. The weight loss didn't affect my ability to do the workouts.0

With the weight that I need to lose, I think it will affect my workouts in a positive way!0

I maintained on a 30 week plan with lifting as well, but the recomp was pretty good. Did Hals spring, followed by advance marathon and lifted heavy 4 times a week, coming into the last 6 weeks or so went to 3x a week0
