    I'm the same - twice a month is a chippy tea. I have the small fish (or a good old Yorkshire fishcake ;) ) and then half of a small portion of chips.
    It's less than half the calories, but still good.

    any takeaways now we just get one a share it. I realised your OH might not want to so maybe look at getting kiddies portions?

    After a pretty pants day, I shared a bag of chips, battered sausage and curry sauce with my OH - haven't had chips if months and wont be rushing back to have them again, they were greasy and an alarmingly bright orange!

    Battered sausage and Curry sauce were a bit yummy though :)
