Losing a child...

to adulthood. You thought the worse, well for me it is. Having a hard time letting her go, worrying will she be okay at college. I know
I'm probably worrying for nothing but when you are the only parent involved with your child you become a lot more close that if it were a standard family. I also know I'm an older parent, so I envy most of you still having the little ones. Wish I could go back in time to spend some time again with them. The earlier years are the best. = (

    Just precious. I think there is something to be said about the relationship between a girl and her dad. Hang in there!

    I'd rather get up in the middle of the night to rock the little ones to sleep rather than worry like this.

    I don't doubt that at all! I cherish my little girl. I love having her little hand on my arm at night while we sleep. I know it won't last forever :-(
