How soon did you start feeling nauseated?
I am 5 weeks and 3 days and for the last 2 days I've been completely sick to my stomach (so far I haven't thrown up THANK GOODNESS). This just seems so much sooner than last time. I'm not alone, right?
Any hints?
I use a lot of mint (candy, gum, lipgloss), I need to get some lemon drops and bring in my scarf to cover my nose when my coworkers (who are unaware) bring that wretched smelling coffee near me.

Nausea is much worse int he first trimester for a lot of women unfortunately.
Try to drink a little sprite or ginger ale and keep some saltine crackers by the bed. Eat a few before you get up. Hunger pangs make me really sick at my tummy, and if I can avoid getting hungry, I end up not getting sick anymore.
Good luck to you!0 -
Thanks for responding
With my first pregnancy (2 years ago) I suffered from Hyperemisis starting from about 8 weeks through 24 weeks (and even some up til delivery if I got a whiff of something REALLY bad) - but the bulk was 8-24 weeks. I just was not expecting it to get this bad - this quick! I guess I can just be grateful I haven't thrown up yet.0 -
one of my friends swore by drinking a glass of milk during the night - not letting her stomach get completely empty helped her to not be as sick. didn't work for me, though0

Yup! Already =P
I found out that I was pregnant because "food wasn't tasting so good anymore and I felt sick!"....I was around 5 weeks as well0 -
Yep! I have crazy motion sickness and probably at 6 weeks it was very heightened!!!! Like I couldn't do anything without feeling nauseous!! I never had morning sickness and I never threw up but for me it lasted my whole first trimester! It is miserable. I bought sea bands (bracelets that go on your wrists and push on a pressure point) and they helped it to a point but I still felt the nausea creep up. The only other thing I can recommend is dramamine...it's like magic lol I definitely got it okayed by my doctor first but the only bad thing about it is that you have to take it at LEAST 30 minutes in advance or you're screwed and sometimes you don't always have an extra half hour for to kick in! It still rocks though lol0

I get occasions whereby he nausea rears its ugly head. Not full scale yet .i am about 5 weeks as well. Ginger beer/ tea and biscuits always help. I've found regularly helps too.0
