This weeks challenge is 20 miles. Whether you do it by walking, running, elliptical or treadmill. If you plan on doing it by bike than it is double the mileage.
Example: If you walk 16 miles Monday - Saturday , leaving you with 4 miles for Sunday and you want to ride a bike, than you don't have 4 miles left, you have 8 miles.
I originally was going to post 14 miles, but thought to myself....is this really tough enough???? SO now I am making it 20 miles, to not only make myself push harder but to actually make it a CHALLENGE!!!
Good Luck everyone. Please post daily on how you are doing with your weekly challenge!
I don't want you guys to just kick *kitten*, I want you to feel like you can kick *kitten*!

Generally, a fast pace walk is about 15 min equals a mile (got to have a good sweat). If you are slightly sweating I would say it will be a 20 minute mile. Depending on your speed, running could be anywhere from 8-12 minutes for a mile. If you use a treadmill or elliptical, the machine calculates your mileage. If you have a smartphone, you can download a pedometer app also.0 -
I'm in. So far I take my dog on a mile walk every day (rain or shine), plus run a 5k 3 days a week. I'm already looking at about 14 miles on a weekly basis. This challenge will definitely push me!0

Use this website to plan your route. This is what I do when I run outside.

9/24: 3 miles in on elliptical trainer
9/25: 1.3 miles on elliptical trainer, 60 mins in cycling class as well.
Can anyone tell me how many miles I burnt on cycling in one hour? Trainer1 told me it would be about 30 miles, and instructor told me that it is more than 20 miles. Waiting to hear from someone. Thx in advance!!!0 -
9/24 (3 mi)
9/25 (4.5 mi)
This has me thinking about trying to get up before work and go to the gym and get some of it done. I am NOT a morning person LOL Guess we'll see if I can pull it off.0
