"Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct..."
When traveling it's easy to be tempted by interesting or new foods. For this trip, I've set my mind to eat right, "preparing it for action". This morning in my hotel, I chose to order an egg white omelet with veggies and only half the usual cheese (for some flavor), and hash browns, but not toast or pancakes which I was offered. I are only half the hash browns, and drank 6 oz of the o.j. Whether you are traveling out of the country, or just over to your friend's in the next town, set you mind for action and resolve to eat right even if you do stop at a Dunkin Donuts on the way.
