Good Programs/Routines

I'm looking for bench press, deadlift, and squat programs. I'm finishing up the Muscle Media Bench Routine (http://www.timinvermont.com/fitness/benchpgm.htm) next week. I'll be done with the Coan/Phillipi Deadlift Program in 3 weeks (http://tsampa.org/training/scripts/coan_phillipi_deadlift/). I've pretty much just been maintaing squat strength.

I was thinking about going to the Ed Coan Bench and 5/3/1 for deadlift and squat.

Anybody have any good ideas?

Smolov, Smolov Jr., and Sheiko (not at the same time though)

All solid programs. How was Coan's deadlift program? I have never tried that one.

Thanks...I'm gonna do some research on those.

Coan's deadlift program was really solid. It got me into doing Good Mornings and Straight-Leg Deadlifts consistently, so that's a good thing. Speed lifts are great to mix in. I went from 450-505 in the 10 weeks...I was pleased with the results.

You mean numbers? 295 Bench, 430 Squat, 535 Deadlift are the best I've gotten in the gym.

As for changing, I don't want to keep running in the same programs in a row because I feel like I won't continue to see gains. I've also really struggled with increasing my benching numbers. That's the main reason I'm looking for a solid program for that.

Deadlifts - that was the first structured program I've used, so I figured there has to be some more out there.

Squats - I haven't used a structured program yet, so I'd like to find one and see what kind of gains I make.

Plus, trying new things is just fun...keeps me entertained/mixes things up.

Did you deadlift while you ran Smolov? One of the first things I've read in the article is not to deadlift. I don't know if I could give them up for 13 weeks after finally hitting a ncie PR haha

your nutrition should support incremental gains, not the brand of program you are on. i would think that adding to your carbs would get you to the next level.

Yes, but only lighter sets. If I don't rehearse the big three religiously, my form goes south. I ran Sheiko first, and it more or less prepped me for a lot of volume. The best thing you could do would be to find a spreadsheet on sheiko and run some of the templates to see how you like it. My DL went from 390 to 410 in two cycles. I think there is a sticky in the powerlifting section of bodybuilding.com that has a lot of programs linked, and the sheiko spreadsheets are in there somewhere.
