You've just won a free PT session. What would you like to do?

Work on technique?
Discuss diet strategies?
Have the use of kit/exercises demonstrated?
Coached through a sticking point?
Get beasted?

Above are just ideas, feel free to add your own

Devise a programme of body-weight exercises I can do at home, as I dislike gyms intensely!

There's plenty out there, marklauren.com specialises in no kit workouts, there's plenty online, on YouTube, in magazines. Your main obstacle is pull exercises, but you can get a pull up bar from a supermarket or resistance bands from online.

Potentially move from weight machines to free weights (meant to use more muscles?)- show how to do properly!
Sort out my routine - i.e me not trying to do everything each time I go to gym & set a balance between training for 1/2 marathon + weights + cardio that works & doesn't leave me feeling like I'm not doing enough lol!

My Dad used to follow the Royal Canadian Airforce exercise plan - presume it is still in print. Designed for flight crew that might be posted to places were there were no facilities. Takes you from beginner and progresses onwards (and upwards?).

I used to devise body weight routines in the middle of muddy fields with youth rugby team I helped coach - planks, lunges, squats, press ups, sit ups etc.

So some technique/exercises demonstration and coaching, and a routine that will support you reaching your goals?
