Has anybody ever seen the Supernatural: Top 10 Most Kickass Music Moments video on Youtube? It's officially one of my favorites and I go back to it every time I want to watch Supernatural but a) don't have time and/or b) don't have access to any episodes. In fact, I've watched it so many times that the original versions of the songs sound weird.

I just saw this last week! Don't Fear the Reaper and Renegade are my 2 favorites, but Dead or Alive, Back in Black, and Bad Moon Rising always make me think SPN. A couple other favorites are Simple Man at the start of Free to Be You and Me and Black Water in Hello Cruel World. I'm also obsessed with the song Dear Mr Fantasy after whatever episode that was in, even though it wasn't a memorable scene.

ETA: At one point TNT must not have had all the rights to the songs in the episodes or something because we were watching the season 1 finale and it was a totally different song from Bad Moon Rising, it was so wrong! The music definitely makes a lot of those classic scenes.

Oh definitely! Half of the most amazing scenes are amazing simply because of the music. For example, Dean uncovering the Impala for the first time when Sam is back from the Cage wouldn't be nearly as memorable as it was with Smoke on the Water (which by the way is my absolute favorite).
