Have slipped pretty badly over the summer but am back and more determined than ever so who wants to join me?
It works out at 750 cals a day which is tough but doable.

Just got minor surgery. Bad news though - no pressure on abs allowed for 2 weeks! No running, cycling, weights etc... :-(

Will start walking but might need to scale down my goal for Oct. Will see...

Hi Decy. Sorry, but you're on your own for another week or so. Got to do some recovery.
Well done, though. You're doing great.

Back on the hamster wheel. On the bike and gym today. Nothing drastic. 702 burned but need to reset my goal after 8 days of no exercise.

    Decy - where are you?

Lost track of cals burned. Not been atrocious; done a couple of 6k runs and needed to get new tyres for the bike (a good sign!) but need to get the discipline back of logging what I'm doing.

Hows everyone else doing? Time to think about November?

    Hi Claire,
Been on and off the wagon like a cowboy with a weak bladder.
On a positive, I've been running 5 and 6k regularly.
On the other hand, I've been milling into the toasted sambos and biscuits like they're going extinct.
Bottom line - I've only lost about 4 lbs in the last 3 months.

Give me a day to think about it. I think I'll be good for 20,000 burned in Nov. But what I REALLY need to do is have 6 days a week "Green" on the MFP app with no lapses in updating.
"A high rate of compliance" as one guy put it on here.

I think everyone is ready to put October in the bin. Will we start a "November" thread?
