Just for anyone wishing / wanting some precise food scales, digital, weighs in grammes or ounce graduations then Lidl have some from Monday 8 Oct 2012 for £9.99 no doubt a Google will show you full details

I have an earlier model and find it indispensable for mfp counting

    Agree with Farway... portion control is really important, and we have a similar model, which we use almost daily, though not obsessively. Particularly useful for no of grammes of jam, etc you spread on bread or crispbread... it mounts up!!
