Loss of 8 pounds since beginning the challenge! Huge loss this week. Had to check the scale all day yesterday and this morning to see if it was actually real! Upping my water intake and lowering my sodium has definitely helped drop the water weight I was hanging on to.

Going well for now. I'm grateful!
Trying to add more exercise. Started from none about a month ago, and I'm old, so I'm taking it slow. Feeling better each week.
This week I hope to do:
DAILY:
5-10 min practice !st lesson Tai Chi, (as warmup)
30 min. or more walk
3 sets of 15 curls, using resistance tubes
3 sets of 15 forward presses, using resistance tubes
M-W-F
2 sets of 15 KB swings
2 sets / 5 KB halos
Looking for mild but progressively more exercises to add. So far, thinking next week I will just add reps. Cannot do sit-ups, push-ups, planks, etc. so far. Don't expect to do them for a while. Wish me luck. I suffer from an exercise allergy. :sad:0 -

This past week I worked out 4 days, tracked every morsel I ate, and cut out all of my junk food. I was excited to see the scale go down as much as it did. I weighed 154.6 last week.0 -

I worked out as normal but still eating that junk food i shouldn't be eating. I am working on just having a cheat day every Tuesday (since Tuesday morning is when I weigh in) then I have the whole week to eat better and still feel good about getting my cheat items in. I have found that when I have a cheat day once a week I throw my body off and I lose more weight than if I ate correctly all week. So this next week my cheat day was yesterday and I actually did a poles class at my gym last night (it has been a while since I have done one) so I am switching up my excerise a little.

This week my diabetes has been crazy and my hunger has changed several times. Also with the cold snap my arthritis was making it hard to get my exercise in like I normally do, so I missed a couple of days and only did shorter sessions on a couple of others. Getting back on the wagon and hitting it hard, hopefully the cold will ease off a little.0 -
