Yes, inquiring minds want to know what your response was!!!! We're happy for you :flowerforyou: Of course, and admittedly slightly jealous. I want someone to say that to me too

I had a man tell me he loved me this weekend! He's married too...

.......and also just one of my best friends. We are secure enough and realize you never know when your time is up, so we let out the random "I love you brother"....

BB has absolutely blown my mind. My intellect keeps trying to say, "you're leaving, this isn't gonna last" but my emotion says, "who cares!! even if it doesn't last, how awesome is THIS right now??!!" I have fallen head over heels in love with this man, and it scares me! He got a kick, the other night, out of discovering that I wasn't into him originally, but only went out with him because (at that time) had this policy of going out with every single guy on Match that actually asked. But one thing led to another, and here we are!

The funny thing is, he thought I'd said I loved him (I forget my exact words, but that's not what I said). He said "I love you too, and by the way you broke your rule! I was dumbfounded, like what?? And he said, your rule about waiting for the man to say it first. I've been waiting for a long time to tell you, I love you, I love you, I love you.

(where's Carl with the "smacks head" icon)

So last night was filled with repeated declarations and expressions of love. :blushing: Delicious and amazing!!

That's wonderful Janie! Enjoy it, and try not to think too far ahead if you can - I know it's tricky, but people do make non-geographically-proximate relationships work sometimes. Even if that's not on the cards, enjoy what you have right now

Yep they do, making one happen right now.

Congrats JJ, also when you deploy, you'll still be closer than I am to my love hahaha. Good luck!

    Thanks y'all...

Like I wrote in Buffcupcake's thread, I actually think this scenario is a good one for military couples, because too may military marriages fall apart during deployments. We've had a chance to get to know each other and the "relationship" is starting to settle into normalcy....so far so good. If this relationship weathers the deployment storm, then we will know deep down that can handle anything the military throws at us.

Nat/Mom2rh wish you two the best for your LDRs... not at all easy, but when you find someone you click with it's soooo worith it!.
