Hey all! I am in need of finding something that I can use at my parents house for the baby to sleep in. I have been told to get a pack and play since they have bassinets in them?? I am not really sure, the pack and plays i remember were just a play pen for a toddler. Do any of your guys have these? which ones did you get?

Good call - this is the one we got:

The bottom can be up high when baby is smaller, and lower when they grow more. The little napper puts them upright a little bit and can flip to the other side (slick side) for changing.0 -
We have one. Used it with the other kids, too. The graco brand has a bassenet you can put on it and remove when they get bigger. It is very useful for trips and also for the first month or so next to your bed.0

I have heard some people say that they love them. My son however hated the pack in play whether it was used as a bassinet or a play pen.0

We just bought the cheap Graco yesterday. It does have the bassinet, but not the newborn lounger or diaper changing area. I really only wanted it for "containment" if I have to put my dogs outside.0

It has mixed reviews but the price was good and I liked that the changing pad flipped to the side instead of me having to take the whole thing off. We played around with it in the store and my husband voted for this one over the Graco.0 -

Thats the one we got, my son did great in it and he still sleeps in one at either of his grandmothers and does fine. I like the one with the newborn nappers as well, but I didnt think it was necessary . Also since he is older (18 months) I have added more cushion below and above the mat and used 2 sheets to hold it in place for naps at my moms house and he does great with that when he cant sleep in his crib.0
