and my hair in a ponytail. And I was surprised. I felt disgusting but guys seemed to like it. haha A lot more guys opened doors for me and the guy working at "Chipotle" was extra friendly, if you know what I mean... haha
Felt like I was in the Twilight Zone... but idk maybe I'm just reading too much into it... haha

Maybe you were sporting that "girl next door" look with the ponytail and fresh face instead of makeup. Next time, try a baseball cap too. I've heard that a lot of guys like that with the ponytail sticking out... a little experiment.0

Yeah pony tails work, specially out the bottom of a motor cycle helmet!
Glad you had a good "opposite sex" day!0 -
not surprised at all.
Most men seem to appreciate the natural look and find the "girl" next door much more approachable. You are a beautiful young woman, and don't need all the make up. My favorite pictures of you aren't the ones where you're all done up. Not that I don't get getting all dolled up is fun and so is playing with make up..I get it! But let your natural beauty shine..most men want to know what you actually look like haha..and you have NOTHING to worry about. Less is more0 -
Good for you!!
I am one of those that is totally flexible with make-up. I can take it or leave it. Some days, I look in the mirror, and am okay with what I see with no make-up, and some days, I'm like "AAAAHHH... cover that old barn up, please."0 -
I think less is more! :bigsmile:0

Yes guys tend to like the natural look more. I think since you are an actress you are used to wearing more make up then an average woman would so that is why it felt strange to you. Clean face with hair pulled back and off the face shows more openness while long hair in the face with a full face of make up looks like you are hiding behind it.0

Less is definitely more when it comes to make-up. Enough to highlight, but not so much that you seem high maintenance as far as guys are concerned.0

Less is definitely more, especially since you're so beautiful!!!
Enjoy it!!
My face scars easily (from normal contact, eating the wrong food resulting in deep breakouts, etc), and the scars last for months so it’s pretty rare that I can go out in public without a little makeup. Every once in awhile my face is nice and clear and I notice that guys like that natural beauty. OTOH, if I’m my usual scarred-up self, and I accidentally go out without make-up is a big turnoff. So a part of me envies you, but at the same time I'm happy for you!
Enjoy your youth and beauty! Every time you think about caking it on remember the great response you got today! Makeup is fun to play with, sure, but don’t be like so many of my friends who look back on their youth and wishing they hadn’t covered up their natural beautify so often (and also wishing they’d realized they weren’t as ugly/heavy as they felt they were at the time).0 -
Very good Laura! Now flirt a little to indicate interest and men will be asking out you regularly.0
